Molly teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Spanish at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School. This is her seventh year as a Mustang, but she was an educator at Thompson Valley High School for five years before that. Molly grew up in the Denver area and moved to northern Colorado after graduating high school where she attended The University of Northern Colorado and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Education. During her studies at UNC, she also spent six months studying abroad in Valparaíso, Chile improving her language skills and cultural knowledge. She also obtained a Master of Arts in Spanish Education through the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2016 and had the opportunity to study in Costa Rica over two summers as part of the program. In addition to her educational travel experiences, Molly has traveled to many Spanish-speaking countries including Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, Argentina, and Uruguay. Outside of school, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son, step-daughter, other family members, and friends. When she is not teaching, Molly loves to travel, read, go camping, watch movies, play with her dog, and do any and all water-related activities. Molly has wanted to be a teacher since she was little and has always had a love for teaching and learning. She has had many amazing teachers throughout her school experiences that have inspired her, and she hopes to be that same inspiration for her own students. Molly is dedicated to building strong relationships with her students to instill a passion for learning, a love for languages and other cultures, and to help them be successful in their futures.
