Education and Professional Background:
Calla Urban will be in her 4th year as a middle school Art teacher at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School. She graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Art education. She student taught at Kinard and spent the 2018-2019 school year working as an Integrated Services Para here as well. She absolutely loves being a Mustang, and thinks the character and kindness here at Kinard is unmatched, and she can't think of a better place to share her love of art with students!
Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Calla is a native Coloradoan and as such she loves all things outdoorsy, such as hiking, climbing and camping. Along with creating her own visual art. She also loves playing guitar and singing with her sister. Her other big passion is volleyball. She loves playing outdoor tournaments in the summer and coaching the girls volleyball team at Kinard as well.
