Important Information:

  • The Xpedition Book Fair is happening NOW!  There is something for everyone!  Adventure, sci-fi, new releases and laugh out loud stores.  Visit the Book Fair in your Media Center today until 4:00 and we are open again tomorrow from 7:30-4:00.  Yes, tomorrow is the last day of the book fair!  The winners of the Guessing Games for today are….The Snowball jar Mrs. Hergenreder and Sevigne Kulbocki.  The Walking Sticks winner are Mr. Benson and Braxton Phillips.   We will draw again tomorrow so come in and make your best guess! 
  • Congratulations to all of this year’s talent show participants!  Please make sure you check in with Mr. Graham as soon as possible for next steps.
  • You may have noticed college signs now displayed by staff in classrooms and offices.  Ask them some in-depth questions like; what they enjoyed about that school and how they decided to attend to that school are great questions.  Don’t forget, tomorrow is College Colors day so express your loyalty and interests tomorrow.
  • Mustang Chorale Members...just a quick reminder there is an E.L.O. rehearsal this afternoon.  Please check in with your teacher and then come to the choir room for a practice session.  Our concert is coming up on October 16th, so this is our chance to work with Mrs. Courtney and sing together.  See you this afternoon in E.L.O.
  • Please remember! Global Leadership is running the Cans Around the Oval fundraiser until October 11. Make sure to bring canned foods, cash, and checks to your 1st period class. The top 5 classes so far are: Mrs. Murphy 1st, Mr. Lardner 2nd, Mrs. Williams 3rd, Mr. Graham 4th, and Mr. Wheeler 5th. The grade level in the lead is: 8th grade. Congratulations! Our next bonus day is Wednesday for tomatoes and beans.

Clubs:

  • Interested in working out? Fitness Club will begin next week and then continue every Monday and Wednesday after school from 3:15-4:00. Come see Mr. Rollings during ELO this Wednesday, October 9th for an informational meeting. Again, Fitness Club begins next week, see Mr. Rollings to sign up.
