Alex Anaya is a Physical Education and Health teacher at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School. This is his 6th year as a Mustang, and his 11th year overall as a PE/Health Teacher. Alex’s previous professional teaching experience came in Flagstaff, Arizona – where he taught 6th-12th grade PE and Health. Alex received his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and School Health from Northern Arizona University in 2011. Alex has a love for coaching and is currently coaching high school baseball and middle school football. He enjoys all athletics and what they have to offer each and every individual. Teaching young people how to live a healthy and active lifestyle is the reason he is a teacher. Outside of school, Alex enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Taylor, and his two little ones Baylee and Austin. Alex enjoys being outdoors in any capacity whether it is hiking, camping, swimming, snowboarding/skiing, hunting, fishing, pick-up basketball games, trail running with his dog Brew, or barbecuing with his friends and family.
