Karyn Choromanski was born and raised in Milford, CT and spent a year living in Wyoming. She received her bachelors degree in Exercise Science K-12 along with a minor in Health Education from Southern Connecticut State University. This will be her 9th year teaching middle school students, 5th year here at Kinard. She will achieve her masters degree in Experiential Learning, her favorite type of learning, by the end of this year. Karyn has also coached sports to children of all ages. She loves coaching Volleyball, Gymnastics and Track & Field. In her spare time you can find her doing any sport that is new, different or adventurous. Some of her favorite activities include slacklining, mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking, snowboarding, skateboarding, horseback riding, the flying trapeze and anything else active. She loves being unique and has been often told that her energy is contagious.
