Outside of school, Mandy enjoys spending time with her family of 5, being outdoors, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. She has three children ranging in ages from 4-15. Emma, her youngest daughter at age 4 enjoys telling silly stories and being a dare-devil. Khloe is 7, she enjoys riding her bike and is really excited about being a second grader. Caleb is 15, he loves playing games on his computer and will be a sophomore in high school this year.
Mandy became a teacher because she loves working with kids. She chose to teach math because she understands math can be scary and wants to show young people math can be interesting, relevant, and fun at the same time. She encourages children to be risk takers and to not be afraid of making mistakes.
