Important Information:
- Did you miss out on auditioning for the Talent Show yesterday? We had some amazing potential acts come try out after school, but we’d love even more tomorrow. It’s not too late to sign up for an audition slot at the Talent Show website at www.tinyurl.com/kinardtalent. Be sure to grab an audition form from the folder outside room #311 (Mr. Graham’s room) and bring it to your audition. See Mr. Graham with any questions.
- Thanks for supporting CANS around the oval! Thursday will be our next collection day. It will also be a bonus day-double dollar day, which means every dollar you donate counts for twice its points. Bring all donations to your first period class on Thursday. Donating helps out food-insecure families and the food bank a lot. Thank you for supporting those in need!
- Lost & Found will be picked up today! Please stop at the cafeteria and check to see if we have your missing item.

- Math Counts meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Media Center
- Student-led Comic Bookers meets today from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mr. Costello’s room (416)
- Fitness Club meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Fitness Room by the small gym
- Give Next meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Houston’s classroom (Rm 509)
- Science Bowl meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Eitsert’s room (313)
- Social Justice Learning Team meets tomorrow during ELO in the Media Center
- Calling all scientists! Do you love discovering how things work, solving cool challenges, and preparing for science competitions against other middle schools with your fellow Mustangs? Registration for Science Olympiad is now open! This club is for all interested 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Please stop by Ms. Blumberg’s classroom, Room 526 upstairs in the green pod to pick up a registration form, or if you have any questions!
- The Genders and Sexualities Alliance Club will start today — Tuesday, September 30, from 3:15-4:00 PM. We will meet in Room 312 and will meet each week on Tuesday afternoons. The Genders and Sexualities Alliance Club—also known as GSA-- is a place to explore your identity, find self-acceptance, and find acceptance in a community. All genders and sexualities are welcome, along with all who are questioning, and all who support those who are exploring their gender or sexuality. GSA is a safe space for all! See Mrs. Young if you have questions. If you are unable to attend today, remember that this club will now meet every Tuesday afternoon.
Athletics:
- The Volleyball Teams secured many victories yesterday against Wellington. Varsity and C Teams both won in 2 games. JV secured a victory in 3 games and D team split 2 games. Great job! Our final regular season match is Wednesday! JV and Varsity have a very important match against Lincoln at home! Come out and cheer them on!! C and D teams will be at Lincoln.
- Our Football Team plays Lesher today here at Kinard. Release players at 2:30, game starts at 3:30. Good Luck Boys!
- Boys Tennis have their District Championship games tomorrow at Rolland Moore Park.
