- Attention Students and Staff,
On Monday, January 19th, school will not be in session as we honor Martin Luther King Jr, a day to remember and celebrate the life and achievements of this incredible historic leader. This year's observance focuses on the 2026 theme: "Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way."
Dr. King dedicated his life in pursuit of civil rights, equality, and justice for all people, and his work continues to inspire us today. Dr. King’s vision reminds us that justice is not just an idea, but it is a mission to actively pursue, and to practice in our daily lives at school and in our community.
As we reflect on Dr. King's teachings, we are challenged to take bold steps toward justice, and dismantle inequities wherever they exist. Together, we can build community in our school and district to ensure dignity and inclusion for every child, every day.
