Important Information:  

  • “If you can dodge a ball, you can win it all!” Join the Annual Kinard Dodgeball Tournament on Thursday, March 12th from 3:30-7:30 pm. Bring a team of six or sign up as a free agent. Registration is $30 per team. Visit tinyurl.com/KinardDodgeball for details.
     
  • One of the spring sports that Kinard offers is Unified Basketball. This is a team that unites athletes and partners to enjoy the game of basketball and engage in a team experience while working with students with disabilities. Our season runs from April 6th to May 7th and we have 2 practices and one game per week. Applications are available in Student Services and are due by Thursday, March 5th. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Irvine.
     
  • Lost & Found will be picked up TODAY!  Please stop at the cafeteria and check to see if we have your missing item.
     
  • Pop and Frozen Fridays is here today! Stop by the Mustang Corral after school to pick up yummy treats! 
     
  • Today is Restart Friday! Regular and specialty ELO Teachers: please remind your students to restart their laptops today to refresh connections and process updates. And don’t forget to also restart your classroom spare laptop. Thank you for helping to keep our laptops in tip-top shape!

  • Pixels and Pencils meets today from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Houston’s art room 509
  • TSA meets on Monday from 7:20 to 8:00 am in Mr. Lardner’s room 409
  • Social Justice Learning Team meets Monday during ELO in the Media Center
  • Animal Lovers Alliance meets on Monday from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Eitsert’s room 313
  • Baking Club meets on Monday from 3:15 to 4:30 in room 300
  • Animation Club meets on Monday from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mrs. Springett’s room 323
  • Pickleball Club meets on Monday from 3:15 to 4:00 in the cafeteria
  • Theater Club with Mr. Wheeler meets Monday after school from 3:15 to 4:15

 

Athletics

  • JV and Varsity Girls Basketball will play at Preston on Monday in their first post season game. Good Luck Mustang Girls!
  • Wrestling finished their regular season with another big win over Blevins. Our wrestling team went 5 and 1 this season in duels. That marks the end of the season for our JV wrestlers. Our Varsity Wrestlers will compete in the Timnath Tournament tomorrow, then will start preparing for the district championship tournament. Great Season Wrestlers!
