- If this question interests you, and you like helping others in our community, come to an ELO meeting tomorrow in room 300 with Mrs. Grigg and Mrs. Flemming and learn how to join Kinard’s Give Next team. Students in Kinard Give Next receive $5000 as a team and get to decide how to spend it to help those in need. Tomorrow, on Tuesday, check in at your ELO, and then go straight to room 300 (Creative Foods room) to find out how to join Give Next! See you there!
- Hey Students! Did you know that we have a mascot and his name is Morty the mustang? How would you like to be the next Morty? We need one student with Kinard spirit and energy to wear our mascot costume at an upcoming high school football game. If you are interested, pick up a permission slip from the media center, fill it out with your parents and turn it in by this Thursday. We’ll pick one lucky winner next week.
Clubs:
- Fitness Club is today and again on Wednesday after school until 4pm in the weight room.
- We have a new student-led club starting today, Monday, September 18th. Baking Club is back and will be meeting after school on Mondays in room 300. See the student-led clubs board outside Student Services for more information.
- Hello Mustangs, Get ready to kick off an amazing adventure with the brand new "Mustang Kickers Club"! Join Mr. Yacobucci and your classmates to play and learn awesome hacky sack tricks, make new friends who share your passion for kicking it up a notch, and have a blast in a fun, inclusive environment that welcomes all skill levels! If you own a hacky sack, bring it! If you don't, we have plenty to go around. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, September 21st and will continue on Thursdays after school, from 3:15-4:00 in Mr. Yacobucci's Room (416).
- Math Counts will meet on Tuesday in the media center from 3:15 to 4:15. Please see Mrs. Williams in room 322 if you have any questions.
Athletics:
- Our volleyball team plays Timnath tonight. Varsity and JV release time is 1:45 as they travel to Timnath. C1 and C2 release time is 2:30.
- Our girls tennis has a match against Lincoln Middle School this afternoon. Girls tennis players release time is 2:30.
