Important Information:

  • Our weekly character challenge is here!   Have you ever heard the saying “Anything worth doing is worth doing well?”  Well, we agree!  At Kinard, our vision is to ensure high levels of learning for all, which means we always are working to achieve excellent results for all students.  And we ask our students to put the same effort into their work and learning every day.

Challenge:  As we head into CMAS assessments this week, be sure to do your best, quality work on the tests.  You have worked hard all year and should take the tests seriously to show your own personal growth and achievement, as well as demonstrating your character and integrity.  We believe in you, Kinard!

  • Do you know that your parents likely considered our school’s successful test results when making the decision for you to attend Kinard? Do you know that test-taking skills will be important throughout your life, and practicing test-taking is part of how you will get better at these skills? Do you know we are proud of you and are excited to see your dedicated efforts when taking CMAS?

We will begin our CMAS assessments on Wednesday! It is VERY IMPORTANT that you bring your fully charged laptop and charging cord to school for all CMAS test days. On CMAS days, you will report directly to your CMAS classroom each morning. Check the posters in the upstairs locker bays for your CMAS room assignment. If you have any questions, see Ms. Bonertz in the main office. We appreciate your hard work and positive attitude toward testing!

  • Your media center will be closed each day of CMAS.  If you need a book to read after each day of testing, please come by today or tomorrow.  Also, there will not be morning announcements during CMAS.  If you are a staff member that needs to have an announcement made, please let Mrs. Arnold know by tomorrow, Tuesday.
