Important Information:  

  • Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and DODGE! Join us for the Annual Kinard Dodgeball Tournament on Thursday, March 12th from 3:30-7:30 pm. Teams of six compete for the title of Kinard Dodgeball Champion! Registration is $30 per team. Visit tinyurl.com/Kinarddodgeball for more information.  
     
  • One of the spring sports that Kinard offers is Unified Basketball. This is a team that unites athletes and partners to enjoy the game of basketball and engage in a team experience while working with students with disabilities. Our season runs from April 6th to May 7th and we have 2 practices and one game per week. Applications are available in Student Services and are due by Thursday, March 5th. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Irvine.
     
  • Attention 7th graders: Have you been thinking about being a WEB Leader? Remember, this leadership activity will not interfere with any other 8th grade class, sports or leadership program. Applications are available in the Student Services Office and are due tomorrow, February 25th. 

 

Clubs:

  • Comic Bookers meets today from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mr. Graham’s room 311
  • GSA Club meets today from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mr. Rollings room 312
  • Fitness Club meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Fitness Room by the small gym
  • Give Next meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Houston’s room 509
  • Theater Club with Mr. Wheeler meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:15
  • Pokemon Club which normally meets tomorrow has been cancelled and will resume next week

 

Athletics

  • The JV and Varsity Basketball teams used smothering defense to secure 2 victories yesterday against Lincoln. Way to go! Thanks to the C and D squads for bringing your energy to the game. JV and Varsity will be at Wellington on Wednesday and C/D will be at home. Good luck!
  • Wrestling has a meet on Thursday against Blevins
