At Kinard, students have the opportunity to get involved with many different extracurricular clubs and activities. These programs provide students an outlet to gain new skills, connect with friends, have fun, and solidify a sense of belonging to Kinard. Historically, over 500 students participate in Kinard clubs and activities each year.
Club information will continue to be updated as our club activities begin for the 2026-2027 school year.

Student Initiated and Led Organizations
If a student has an interest that lies outside of the listed school-sponsored clubs, they are welcome to explore starting their own club. Student initiated and led clubs are open to all students and can happen before or after school. Students interested in starting a student initiated and led organization must first meet with Mrs. LaRue to start the application process and to understand PSD policy around student initiated and led organizations. Students should come to that meeting with a general idea or proposal for their club - a description of the club, purpose of the club, when and where they would like the club to meet, as well as how frequently and for how long each meeting will run. Students will also need to find a staff sponsor who agrees to monitor and supervise the club. Student initiated and led organizations must reapply each year.
