Important Information:

 

  • National Babe Ruth Day

 

  • All 8th graders who have not turned in their field trip permission forms for the high school visit, if your forms are not turned in at the end of today, you will not be going on the field trip and will be doing study hall instead.

 

  • The Kinard GL want to remind you about the pie in the face fundraiser. During lunch they will be collecting money from students to help raise money for water for South Sudan. Remember only 2 out of 4 from each grade level get pied, so if you want a teacher to get pied, then make sure they have the most money. The more tickets you buy the more likely YOU will get to pie the teacher you want.

 

  • What is new with student passwords?  On Monday, May 1st, all secondary PSD students will be prompted to change their passwords. Your new password will expire in 12 months.  And here is what is really important: This means you will need to remember this new password to log in to your laptop in August for next school year. Your ELO teachers will have more information. Again, this will happen on Monday, May 1st. 

 

  • NJHS members there is an end of the year party on Monday, May 1st at 7:30 in the Media Center. There is a sign up genius in our Google Classroom if you would like to contribute.

 

  • In case you haven’t heard, we are holding a Spring Food Truck & Wellness Festival next Thursday, May 4th from 5:00 – 7:00. Start planning now to spend time with your friends and families as we enjoy music from a DJ, a variety of food trucks, and a Wellness Fair.

 

  • Kinard!  The last day to check out books from our media center is next Tuesday, May 2nd!  We are fortunate enough to have many NEW books on our shelves that would love to go home with you to be read!  Please take advantage of these next few days to get a book checked out.  All books are due back on May 16th.

 

  • The unified basketball team battled in a high scoring game against Boltz yesterday but lost 50-44!  Great job everyone!  
    • Our last game is at home next Wednesday!

 

  • Please remember to check the LOST & FOUND before tomorrow. Everything left in the LOST & FOUND after tomorrow will be graciously donated. 

 

Clubs: 

  • There are no clubs for the remainder of this week.

 

Athletics:

  • Our softball team plays Boltz today at home.  All softball players, Varsity and JV, are being released at 2:20 for a yearbook photo.  
  • The boys golf team plays Preston at Mountain Vista today.  Release time is 1:30.

.Menu:

  • Today the lunch options are:
    • Taco bar beef or chicken
    • Taco salad
  • Served for breakfast tomorrow is a whole grain chocolate chip waffle
