Important Information:

  • Attention 7th Graders-Students who signed up for the Advanced PE interest session during ELO today need to check in with their ELO teacher and then report to the Big Gym by 2:35 pm ready to move.  If you didn’t get signed up for one of these interest sessions, feel free to come down today or tomorrow.
  • If you are interested in joining NJHS, please get an application from Mrs. Darrow or Mrs. Hergenreder, Room 504 or 508 and turn it in by Thursday, January 23rd.  We are committed to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship here at Kinard and to the Fort Collins community.  Members will join your ELO on Tuesday or Wednesday this week to answer questions and pass out applications.
  • The Theatre Club starts up next week on Wednesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:15-4:15.  This is open to all Kinard students interested in performing OR technical theatre.  There is an attendance requirement for those performing (no more than 5 absences) and $50 to participate.  However, students involved in after school winter sports or those who can only attend once a week can still participate in the technical theatre aspects.

 

Clubs:

  • Stem Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Ashe’s room (315) 
  • The Give Next Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Media Center
  • The Coding Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Shannon’s room (308)
  • Fitness Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Fitness Center
  • Social Justice Service Learning Team meets today during ELO at 2:35 in the Media Center.
  • The Kinard Student Wellness Team will not meet today during ELO. Your meeting with Mr. Benson has been rescheduled to next Wednesday during ELO.
  • Science Bowl has been cancelled for today and will resume as normal next week.
  • Dungeons and Dragons Club meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:30 in Mr. Costello’s room (416)
  • Baking Club meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:30 in room 300
  • Spike Ball Club meets tomorrow after school from 3:10 to 4:00 in the cafeteria.

 

Athletics:

  • Wrestling camp continues today and every day this week from 3:15 to 5:00 in the small gym.
  • Girls Basketball Tryouts will continue today from 3:15 to 5:20 in the large gym.

 

Menu:

  • Today the lunch options are:
    • Thai Chicken
    • Rice or Soba Noodles
    • Steamed Broccoli
    • Ham or Turkey and Cheese Sandwich
    • Protein Box

 

  • Breakfast tomorrow will be Pancake and Sausage Wrap
