Important Information:
- Our weekly character challenge is here! When you disagree with someone or have a conflict with another person, it can be hard to listen to their side of things and you may naturally want to win the argument, blame the other person or avoid them to keep the peace. Unfortunately, these choices will likely increase the conflict. Instead, how you use your listening skills and the Health Goals of Dialogue to resolve the issue and improve relationships.
Challenge: If you find yourself in a disagreement with someone, use Healthy Goals of Dialogue to help resolve the issue. Have a respectful conversation where you learn, work together to find truth, produce results and strength your relationship.
- We are celebrating Black History Month in the Media Center! Please stop by to see our display of books written by black authors, about black people or celebrating the amazing things black people have done in history. The display is on the main desk of the media center as well as along the orange wall on the north side of the room. We look forward to seeing you soon!
- Hey Talented Mustangs! Submissions for the virtual Talent Show continue this week! We are looking forward to seeing all the amazing things that you can do, so go to flipgrid.com/kinardtalent and submit your video. Videos must be five minutes in length or shorter, and don’t forget to also follow the Google Form link on the Flipgrid page to submit more information on your act. See Mr. Graham with questions.
Clubs:
- Fitness club meets at 3:15 in the weight room.
- Quilling club members! Quilling club does not meet today.
- Theatre Club meets at 3:15 in the media center.
Sports:
- Our girls basketball teams have games against Webber today! Our 7th grade athletes play at home and will be released at 2:30. Our 8th grade athletes will be traveling to Webber and will be released at 2:00. Let’s go Mustangs!
Menu:
- Today for lunch we are serving cheese pizza, meat lovers pizza, chicken Caesar salad or chicken patty sandwich. For breakfast we will be serving mini cinnamon rolls.
