Important Information:

  • Hi Kinard! Be honest, how many of you would want to go home right now and sleep in your bed? I know that I would, but what if you didn’t have a bed to sleep in? Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization dedicated to donating beds to students that don’t have one, is partnering with PSD and Global Leadership to raise money for children suffering from homelessness or in need of a bed. To help us with this cause, our goal is that every student in Kinard brings just $2 to help support this fundraiser.  A bonus is that tomorrow is pajama day to raise awareness for the cause!  Bring your $2 donation and wear pajamas tomorrow to show your support! Pajamas should still follow dress policy and that shoes or rubber soled slippers must be worn at all times.

  • 8th graders- we are busy planning an awesome 8th Grade Celebration Event for you in the gym at Fossil Ridge High School later this month. As part of the celebration, we would like to highlight some amazing 8th grade music performers. If you would like to sing a song or perhaps play the piano to open or close the celebration, please see Mr. Bergmann about what this responsibility would involve and how to submit your musical talent for consideration.

  • A reminder that all Kinard library books are due back NOW.  There is not a charge if your book is late;  we just want it back for inventory starting next week.  Please check your backpack, your locker and at home for any book you may have checked out from our library this year.

Clubs:

  • FCT/FCA meets tomorrow morning at 7:30 in room 300.

Menu:

  • Today for lunch we are serving chicken burrito and our deli line and our hot sandwich line will be open. For breakfast tomorrow we will serve a cinnamon toast crunch soft filled bar.
