Important Information:

  • Kinard’s Character Challenge
    • Collaboration and working with others is an important part of the learning process. Working with classmates to mutually search for understanding, solutions, or meanings, or create a product or project can actually lead to higher levels of understanding and engagement for you and improve your learning outcomes.
    • Challenge: Actively contribute to group/partner work during class by staying on topic, offering your ideas, and treating others with respect to ensure you and your classmates can learn at high levels.
  • Last week’s Kinard Character Challenge Winners are:
    • Nurali Meirmanov
    • Ryan James
  • Please come down to the front office to claim your prize.

Clubs:

  • Fitness Club is today after school until 4pm in the Small Gym. See Mr. Rollings in Room 312 for more information.
  • MathCounts is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 20th. We will meet in the media center from 3:15-4:15. You do not need to sign up, but you can see Ms. Bonertz in the office or at lunch if you have any questions or need more information.

Athletics:

  • Our C1 & C2 volleyball teams play CLP at CLP today.  Those athletes are released at 1:25.  The varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams also play CLP and those matches will take place here at Kinard.  Those athletes are released at 2:30.  Make plans to stay after school and cheer on our volleyball teams!  
  • The Kinard Gold tennis team plays Lincoln today at Spring Canyon Park.  Those tennis players will be released at 1:30

  • Today the lunch options are:
    • Chicken Nuggets
    • BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwich
    • Buffalo Chicken Wrap

 

  • Served for breakfast tomorrow is a breakfast bagel.
