Important Information:

  • National Milk Day

 

  • NJHS members have a meeting on Friday, January 13th at 7:30 in the Media Center. Please see the schedule posted in our Google Classroom for upcoming dates.

 

  • Attention students in Kinard’s GT Program: All students in GT will be meeting with Mrs. Grigg for a third quarter check-in on ALP Goals.  This is a required meeting, and it is a great opportunity for you to get questions answered and to receive support to achieve your goals.  Look for your GT Pass to be delivered to you this week or next week for a meeting during ELO.  If you need to schedule a different time to meet with Mrs. Grigg, please stop by the GT Office this week to sign up on the “drop-in” schedule and to get a pass.  See you soon!

 

  • Attention all Dancers & Actors at Kinard!  We’re starting up the after-school Theatre Club in cooperation with the Drama ELO.  Together, we’re producing the musical ‘Newsies’ as well as a coordinated dance project with the Fort Collins High School Dance & Cheer team.  We need actors and dancers to join us for these projects.  If you’re interested, join Mr. Wheeler during ELO this Wednesday, January 11th in the choir room.  Check in with your ELO teacher first, then come down to the choir room this afternoon.  

 

  • The Winter Read-a-Thon entries are pouring in!  Tomorrow is the last day to enter!  Winners will be announced Friday during the morning announcements.  

 

Clubs:

  • Fitness club is today after school until 4pm in the small Gym. 
  • STEM club is tomorrow after school from 3:15-4pm in Room 315.
  • Running club is also tomorrow outside the gym from 3:15-4pm.

 

Athletics:

  • Girls basketball tryouts start today after school in the big gym.  If you have not been attending basketball camp make sure you have everything you need to try out by seeing Mrs. Arnold today.  

Menu:

  • Today the lunch options are:
    • Asian bar: Orange chicken or beef
    • Supreme pizza
  • Served for breakfast tomorrow is a pancake sausage wrap.
