- National Bubble Wrap Day
- Kinard’s Character Challenge:
- Valuing our differences and appreciating every individual for their own unique contributions is the key to synergy.
- Challenge: As you interact with teachers and classmates this week, show dignity and respect to all. Celebrate, acknowledge, or appreciate that our differences make us better and that it is ok for someone to have a different opinion, belief, or choice than you.
- Attention science Olympiad participants. There will be an important meeting on Wednesday during ELO to finalize team members on each of the 23 events. If you cannot attend, please see Mr. McGonagil sometime before Wednesday to finalize your events. Report to your ELO, then to room 510 for this important meeting.
- If you are interested in joining NJHS please see Mrs. Darrow or Mrs. Hergenreder for an application. All applications are due to the sponsors by 1/31 at 3:15pm. Our next meeting is 2/6 at 7:30 in the Media Center for all initiated members and those that have received an invitation to join.
- Your Kinard media center wants to set you up on a Blind Date! That’s RIGHT! During the month of February we have books wrapped in gift wrap that you can choose based on a TEASER first line of the book that is written on the gift wrap along with the genre of book! So mysterious! If you bring back the book and a “Rate Your Blind Date” review card you will get a sweet treat!
Clubs:
- Theater club is today in the Media Center from 3:10-4:10pm
- Fitness club is after school today in the small gym from 3:15-4pm.
- Math Counts and Running club are tomorrow.
Athletics:
- Our basketball teams play Lesher today! The C teams will play here at Kinard and be released at 2:30. Our Varsity and Junior Varsity teams play at Lesher and will be released at 1:40.
