Hey Mustangs, don’t forget to plan your Spirit Week outfits this weekend so you can participate in a fun way to end the first semester with some holiday joy! Monday, December 16th will be Pajama Day where you can wear some cozy winter pjs to school. Please be sure to still wear shoes or slippers with hard soles and to follow the PSD dress policy on all spirit days. See the posters in the halls for more information and start planning your spirit week outfits now!
A big congratulations goes out to all who competed in Kinard's Spelling Bee yesterday afternoon. Can you spell crescendo or sentient? Amaaya Bhandari and Olivia MacLeod can! In a heart-racing competition, Amaaya and Olivia tied for the champion speller of Kinard. They will face-off after winter break to determine who proceeds to the district Spelling Bee. Please take a moment today to celebrate Amaaya and Olivia!
Pop and Frozen Fridays are here today! Stop by the Mustang Corral after school to pick up some hot cocoa, giant Mary Mountain cookies, popcorn, bottled water, and ice cream!
Today is Restart Friday! Regular and specialty ELO Teachers: Please remind your students to restart their laptops today to refresh connections and process updates. And don’t forget to also restart your classroom spare laptop. Thank you for helping to keep our laptops in tip-top shape!

Baking Club meets Monday after school from 3:15 to 4:30 in room 300
Fitness Club meets Monday after school in the Fitness Center from 3:15 to 4:00.
Visual and Literary Arts Club meets Monday after school from 3:15 to 4:30 in Mrs. Van Huss Willis’ room (516)

Athletics:

The first round playoff game for Varsity/JV Boys Basketball will be Monday at 3 pm at Lesher. Good Luck to our Mustang Boys!
