Important Information:

  • October is Futures Month!  Keep exploring what’s out there but don’t just “google” things. Remember to use Xello as a tool to research careers, start looking at colleges, and do activities to get to know yourself better. If you have any questions, let Ms. Irvine or Mrs. Young know.  
  • Wow, Kinard, everyone is looking whacky and whimsical in their mismatch gear! Don’t forget that tomorrow is our last College Colors Day, so wear gear or a jersey to represent your favorite college.

 

Clubs:

  • MathCounts meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Media Center
  • Student-led Comic Bookers meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mr. Costello’s room 416
  • GSA Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mr. Rollings room 312.  Please bring your computers to GSA.
  • Fitness Club meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Fitness Room by the small gym
  • Give Next meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Houston’s classroom Room 509
  • Science Bowl meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Eitsert’s Room 313
  • Study Club meets tomorrow from 3:20 to 4:10 in Mr. Costello’s Room 416
  • Social Justice Learning Team meets tomorrow during ELO in the Media Center

 

Athletics:

  • The Boys Basketball teams will have scrimmages tomorrow against Timnath.
  • Attention all Wrestlers - We will start hosting optional off season open mat work outs in the coming weeks. The first opportunity for anyone interested in participating in wrestling to learn about the sport and work out with the team will be on Thursday of this week in the small gym from 3:30-5 pm. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle.
