Cody Jackson is a 7th Grade Social Studies teacher at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School. The 2026-27 school year will be his fifth as a Mustang, and he couldn't be more excited! This will be Mr. Jackson's 11th year in education. Before joining the Kinard family, Mr. Jackson spent time teaching in Greeley at Brentwood Middle School and Greeley Central High School. Throughout his teaching career, Mr. Jackson has coached both cross country and basketball for the past 10 years, and is currently the head boys golf coach.
Mr. Jackson received both his bachelor's degree and master's degree from the University of Northern Colorado, with his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education-History and his master's degree in Educational Leadership.
Outside of school, Mr. Jackson loves to ski, run, play basketball, play golf, go to the movies, travel, and enjoy Old Town. Most of all, he loves spending time with his amazing wife Amanda, who he has known since elementary school and is a counselor at Webber Middle School, and their young son, Bayker, who was born this summer on June 10.
Mr. Jackson chose to be a teacher because he had many amazing role models who instilled a passion for learning in him. He strives to make his classroom a place where all students are challenged, curious, supported, and accepted. It's going to be a great year, Mustangs!
