Important Information:

  • No School Tomorrow!

  • National Seafood Bisque Day!

  • Are you planning on going to college?  Want to join the military?  Have a certain career in mind?  It’s never too early to start thinking about your goals.  Remember you have access to Xello through Clever.com to explore your options.

  • Answers to the College Scavenger Hunt are due today at lunch time!  You can submit your answer form on-line or by bringing a hard-copy to Student Services.  Prizes will be awarded to the 5 contestants with the most correct answers!

  • Hey everyone, we want to take a minute to talk about something super important. Everyone struggles, even if it doesn’t seem like it. It’s OK to not be OK. Here at Kinard and in PSD, we care about ourselves and each other. We all belong here, and you are never alone. If it just feels like too much and you don’t know what to do, remember:
    • If you need support in school now, connect with a trusted adult or a counselor. Counselors will connect you to help.
    •  If someone you know needs help, ask how they’re doing, listen to them, and connect them to a trusted adult or a counselor. If you’re not in school, talk to a family member or call or text 988.
    •  As we mentioned, we have incredible counselors, Ms. Irvine and Mrs. Young to talk to, and we have a student wellness room that students can access. Again, it’s OK not to be OK. There are resources and people available to help. You are never alone, there is always hope.

  • "Greetings from Science Olympiad! We wanted to remind you to turn in your registration form A.S.A.P. if you haven't already, as well as go to the club's webpage (found on Kinard's home page) and join the Google Classroom so that you can complete the Event choice form. The club's webpage will have the start dates for each event, as well as the time slot offering posted on the club website by the end of this week. There will be NO Science Night this Thursday. However, there will be one next Thursday on the 26th from 6-8. Please attend if your coach offers their time during this slot for an event you expressed interest in on your form."

  • ATTENTION GIVE NEXT STUDENTS: Today, is an important Give Next meeting. Our classroom donors are coming to visit. Please be sure to arrive in room 300 BEFORE ELO starts at 2:30 so you can welcome our guests. See you later today!

  • There is a NJHS meeting for all current members this Monday, October 23rd in the Media center at 7:30am.

  • “Hey Mustangs, if you bike, skateboard, or ride anything with wheels to school, please be sure to dismount and walk your bike or skateboard when you get close to the school. You should walk your bike or skateboard anywhere in our front yard, where it is crowded with people in the morning and afternoons. Once you get to the bike racks, you must get off. If you bring your skateboard into the building, be sure to walk it in and don’t ride it please. Thank you for doing your part to be respectful of others and to keep everyone safe.”

  • Attention Mustang Athletes: We have enjoyed celebrating our amazing fall athletes with locker decorations! We are proud of you! Today is the day for you to take your athletic locker decorations down and bring them home. If you don’t want to save yours, please remove it and put it in the recycle bin. Our custodial crew will be spiffing up the building over the long weekend, and they will remove any remaining decorations. If you forget to bring yours home today, it will be in the office next week and then will be recycled. Thanks for your hard work this season and for helping us keep our building looking great!

  • This afternoon we will have a parade of champions to celebrate everyone who participated in Fall athletics. If you were part of the Football, Volleyball, Cross Country or Tennis teams, you need to head to the gym after 8th period instead of going to your ELO. After the parade, you will head back to your ELO.

  • This is the last day to check the LOST & FOUND before everything will be donated before the three day weekend.
