Daily Announcements
Wednesday, October 25th, 2023
Important Information:
- National Artist’s Day
- The day also celebrates one of the most famous artists, Pablo Picasso. The Spanish artist was born on October 25th, 1881.
- We have results from last week’s career scavenger hunt: Reece Warren in 6th grade and Gladys Apawu in 8th grade are winners! Reece and Gladys, please come to Student Services to get your prize!
- What do you love to do? The people that are the happiest in their jobs are those that have chosen a career that they truly enjoy. Think about the classes that are your favorites - there may be careers related to that subject area. Take a photo of you and a teacher today with college gear on and email it to Mrs. Young or Ms. Irvine and you will be entered into a drawing for a prize!
- To celebrate everyone’s first quarter accomplishments and to have a little fun, we’re going to be hosting a Mustang Spirit Week starting on Monday, October 30th. Each day will be a different spirit celebration to allow everyone a chance to have fun and express themselves. Please remember that PSD dress policy must be followed on all spirit days.
- Monday, October 30th will be Mustang Colors Day, where each grade level wears a different color (6th grade wear white, 7th grade wear red, 8th grade wear blue).
- Tuesday, October 31st will be Dress Up Day, where you can wear a costume to school.
- Wednesday, November 1st will be Pajama Day.
- Thursday, November 2nd will be Neon/Tie Dye Day, so wear the brightest, most colorful outfit you can.
- And Friday, November 3rd will be Sports Team Day, so wear gear or a jersey to represent your favorite team or a team that you play on.
- See the posters in the halls for more information, and start planning your spirit week outfits now!
