Important Information:

Keep exploring what’s out there but don’t just “google” things. Remember to use Xello as a tool to research careers, start looking at colleges and do activities to get to know yourself better. If you have any questions, let Ms. Irvine or Mrs. Young know.

Only one more day of this week’s College Scavenger Hunt! To play, go to Student Services to get a copy of the game. Answer forms are due tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 27, by lunch time; they can be turned into the Student Services office. 5 contestants will win prizes!

Hey everyone, we want to take a minute to talk about something super important. Everyone struggles, even if it doesn’t seem like it. It’s OK to not be OK. Here at Kinard and in PSD, we care about ourselves and each other. We all belong here, and you are never alone. If it just feels like too much and you don’t know what to do, remember:
- If you need support in school now, connect with a trusted adult or a counselor. Counselors will connect you to help.
- If someone you know needs help, ask how they’re doing, listen to them, and connect them to a trusted adult or a counselor. If you’re not in school, talk to a family member or call or text 988.
- As we mentioned, we have incredible counselors, Ms. Irvine and Mrs. Young to talk to, and we have a student wellness room that students can access.
- Again, it’s OK not to be OK. There are resources and people available to help. You are never alone, there is always hope.

Remember, next week is Mustang Spirit Week! To celebrate everyone’s first quarter accomplishments and to have a little fun, we’re going to be hosting a Mustang Spirit Week starting on Monday, October 30th. Each day will be a different spirit celebration to allow everyone a chance to have fun and express themselves. Please remember that PSD dress policy must be followed on all spirit days. See the posters in the halls for more information, and start planning your spirit week outfits now!

Clubs:

"National Novel Writing Month Club, also known as NaNoWriMo, is Happening this Fall! Our first meeting takes place today from 3:10 PM-4:00 PM in Mr. Yacobucci’s Room (416). After the first meeting, we will meet every Thursday in November after school. See Mr. Yacobucci if you have any questions. LET THE WRITING BEGIN!"

Remember that Mustang Kickers Club is moved to Fridays from 3:15 - 4 pm in Room 416.
