  • Hey 7th graders! On Friday morning, you will come to the media center with your 2nd period class to get your vision and hearing screened! WOO HOO!   Please remember to wear your glasses or contacts that day AND thanks for being quiet in the media center – this helps our volunteers out so much.

Important Information:

  • Our weekly character challenge is here!  When you disagree with someone or have a conflict with another person, it can be hard to listen to their side of things and you may naturally want to win the argument, blame the other person or avoid them to keep the peace.  Unfortunately, these choices will likely increase the conflict.  Instead, how you use your listening skills and the Health Goals of Dialogue to resolve the issue and improve relationships.

Important Information:

  • Giving a genuine compliment is an amazing positivity boost! But compliments are not only good for the recipients-they are good for the people who give them as well.  When you go out of your way to say something nice and give thoughtful praise to another person, it amplifies your self-confidence and nourishes your self-esteem.

  • Hey Kinard! Remember that Friday is the last day to guarantee a yearbook, so make sure to order one before then. Talk to your family and order one for $45 at www.jostens.com.

Clubs:

  • Fitness Club meets in the small gym today from 3:15-4:00.
  • Science Bowl will meet in Mrs. Tracy’s room, room 526, tomorrow morning at 7:15.

  • Math Counts meets today at 3:15 in the media center.

  • Fly tying club members!  Fly tying club is cancelled for today.

Menu:

  • Today for lunch we are serving cheese calzone and marinara, chef salad or cheeseburger. Tomorrow for breakfast we will serve whole grain cinnamon french toast.
