Important Information:

  • A friendly reminder- the Scholastic Book Fair is now open!  There are so many new and amazing books to choose from and the choice is all yours!  You can visit the Book Fair with your class in the media center this week.  Can’t wait to see you at the fair!

 

Clubs:

  • Stem Club meets today, after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Ashe’s room (Rm 315).
  • Science Bowl meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:30 in Ms. Eitsert’s room                    (Rm 313).  
  • The Give Next Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Media Center.
  • Coding Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Shannon’s room (Rm 308).
  • Social Justice Service Learning Team meets today during ELO at 2:35 in the Media Center.
  • Kinard Student Wellness Team with Mr. Benson meets today during ELO at 2:35 in the cafeteria.
  • Remember there will be NO Science night on Thursday of this week.  There is a whole club meeting today at 2:40 in Rm. 526 with Mrs. Murphy, and a Dynamic Planet meeting tomorrow, Thursday in Rm 526 at 2:40.  
  • Dungeons and Dragons Club meets tomorrow (Thursday) from 3:15 to 4:30 in Mr. Costello’s room (416)
  • Visual and Literary Arts Club meets tomorrow (Thursday) from 3:15 to 4:30 in Mrs. Van Huss Willis’ room (516)
  • Baking Club scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled and will resume on Monday of next week. 

 

Athletics:

  • Boys Basketball split with Timnath yesterday.  JV and C1 used great defense and teamwork to grab big wins over Timnath.  Varsity and C2 fought through adversity but fell short of a victory.  Keep up the hard work! 
  • Looking ahead, our Varsity/JV Boys play away at Blevins on Thursday and the C teams are at home against Blevins on Friday afternoon.
