- Hey Kinard! Do you want to have a fun ELO next year that challenges you in the different aspects of journalism? Join the Yearbook ELO! We need writers, photographers, graphic designers, and marketers to help capture the memories and stories of Kinard to combine into a published yearbook for purchase. See YOUR work in print! We’re looking for new members who value hard work, partnership, and perseverance. If you’d like to apply, grab an application from outside of room 417, and turn it in by Friday. We’d love to see you on the team!
- Attention WEB Leaders-today is our first training. We start at 1:15 and meet in the cafeteria. Go to your 7th hour class, check in and then join us at 1:15. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Young or Ms. Irvine.
- Pop and Frozen Fridays are here tomorrow! Stop by the Mustang Corral after school to pick up your favorite treats!
- Did you know that Kinard will be hosting a Community Extravaganza on May 8th? All Kinard students and their parents are welcome! There will be food trucks, music, and more! It will be from 5-7pm, the theme this year is “All Star Sports.” Come join us next Thursday!
- Thanks to everyone that participated in the Career Fair Tuesday. We heard a lot of positive comments from the presenters about students! Here are the winners of the passport drawing. - Dungeons and Dragons Club meets today from 3:15 to 4:30 in Mr. Costello’s room (416)
- Baking Club meets today from 3:15 to 4:30 in room 300
- Theater Club meets today from 3:15 to 4:15
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Teens Club will meet tomorrow morning in room (300) at 7:30 am.
- Debate Club has been cancelled tomorrow morning and will resume as normal next week
- Pixels and Pencils has been cancelled tomorrow and will resume next week
Athletics:
- Boys Golf play today against Preston at Mountain Vista. Tee time is 2:30, release golfers at 1:30
- Girls JV Softball won their last home game yesterday against Timnath! Great job softball! Our JV team plays next on Monday against Preston
- Girls Varsity Softball have a game today against Preston, release players at 1:35, load bus at 1:55.
- Congratulations to the Unified Basketball team for completing an awesome season yesterday against Lincoln. Everyone contributed in the 60-60 tie game, but special shout out to Adelaide Duda for making her first shot ever on the big basket!
- Reminder, if you are in Girls Softball there are photo order forms at the front office for you to pick up!
