Important Information:

  • October is Futures Month!  Thank you to all the staff and students who have participated in Futures Month.  We have had a great time learning about everyone’s interests and career goals.  Remember to keep the conversations going with Ms. Irvine, Mrs. Young, teachers, and your parents about your ICAP and future plan.
  • This week is Mustang Spirit Week! We are halfway through our Mustang Spirit Week and are loving seeing your spirit gear each day!  You have two more days to participate.  Remember that tomorrow is Dress-Up Day where you can wear a school appropriate costume to school.  Remember to follow PSD dress policy including wearing shoes.  Hats and wigs are allowed, but you can’t wear anything else that covers your face or eyes, so no costume masks or face paint.  Please no weapons or other inappropriate language or images.  We look forward to seeing your fun and creative costumes tomorrow!
  • Lost & Found will be picked up on Friday!  Please stop at the cafeteria and check to see if we have your missing item. 

 

Clubs:

  • There will be a Science Olympiad meeting today, Wednesday during ELO at 2:40 in Room 526.  If you were able to attend the meeting on Oct 23rd please feel free to miss this one.
  • The Social Justice Service Learning Team will meet today, during ELO at 2:35 in the Media Center.
  • The Kinard Student Wellness Team with Mr. Benson will be meeting today during ELO at 2:35 in the cafeteria.
  • The Give Next Club will meet today after school from 3:15-4:00 in the Media Center.
  • STEM Club meets today after school from 3:15-4:00 in Mrs. Ashe’s room (315).  Come to this first meeting to get more information!
  • Science Bowl will meet today from 3:15 to 4:30 in Ms. Eitsert’s room (313).
  • The student-led Dungeons and Dragons Club meets tomorrow, Thursday from 3:15 to 4:30 in Mr. Costellos room (416).
  • Baking Club meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:30 in room 300.
  • The student-led Visual and Literary Arts Club will be meeting tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:30 in Mrs. Van Huss Willis’ Rm (516).
  • National Junior Honor Society members, we have a meeting on Monday Nov 4th at 7:20 am in the Media Center.  Please bring scissors to make dog toys.  See you on Monday Morning!

 

Athletics:

  • Our Boys Basketball teams will have their first scrimmage today against Preston.  Varsity/JV will play at Preston, C Teams will play here. Varsity/JV players should be released at 1:40PM. C teams are released after 8th period.
