Mrs. Lundeen grew up in Fort Collins (shout-out to Dunn, Lesher, & Poudre) and lived in France her senior year of high school as a Rotary exchange student. She studied French and Economics at Vassar College and holds an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Montana State University. This is her 11th year of teaching, and her second year at Kinard. Previously, she taught at Jackson Hole High School and Wellington Middle High School. In her classes, students can expect to learn about each other and the Spanish or French-speaking world, play games, have tons of opportunities to be creative, move around, and be immersed in the target language.
When she is not teaching, Mrs. Lundeen loves spending time with family, skiing powder, mountain biking, trail running, knitting, doing wooden puzzles, cooking, and drinking coffee with a good book (this summer's favorites included Black Woods Blue Sky, Deep River and The Art of Losing).
