Leslie Husted is a Spanish teacher at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School. Leslie is the staff monitor for Fellowship of Christian Athletes/Teens (FCA/FCT). She has been a Mustang for fifteen years, and has been an educator for over 20 years.
Leslie received her BA degree in Spanish from Iowa State University. She also earned her Master’s degree from University of Northern Iowa in Spanish Literature, while studying three summers in Spain. This overseas experience truly deepened her love of the language and culture.
PERSONAL INTERESTS and HOBBIES
Outside of school, Leslie enjoys spending time with her family: Husband, Bob, daughter Emily and husband Jake, daughter Kate and son, Cole. When she is not teaching, she loves to take walks, read, cook, workout, and shop. Some of her favorite things to do are: travel with her family, play cards, and have “family pizza and movie night”. Leslie is looking forward to becoming a grandma in December!
