- Hello mustangs! The Kinard entrepreneurship class is making and customizing many different products for you this semester. The items for sale include engraved magnets and coasters, Croc charms, bath bombs, sunglasses, hair clips and we are even taking orders for organic garden vegetable plants that will be ready in May. Everything we sell will make excellent gifts. All of these products are handmade or created by students here at school and all proceeds will go to Give Next. See us at the sales table under the balcony every odd day during lunch to buy some cool items for yourself, your friends or family.
- Today is Restart Friday! ELO and World Language Teachers please remind your students to restart their laptops today to refresh connections and process updates. Thank you for your help to keep our laptops in tip-top shape!
- Swing by the main office to say Hi to everyone and while you’re there check the LOST & FOUND
Clubs:
- Fitness club is on Monday and Wednesday
- Theater club is on Wednesday and Friday
- Math Counts is on Tuesday
- Running club is on Tuesday and Thursday
- STEM club is on Thursday
Athletics:
- Today is the day for the Kinard golf team informational meeting! Golf is open to all 6th, 7th or 8th grade students so if you are interested in trying out for golf at Kinard ATTEND this meeting today in the foods room during ELO.
- The Kinard softball season starts with softball camp on Monday! If you want to join the softball team, plan to come out next week after school from 3:30-5:30 each day to check out softball here at Kinard! In order to participate you will need to have registered on sportsengine and have a current athletic physical on file. To start the regular season you will need those two things PLUS have paid your athletic fee. See Mrs. Arnold with questions.
- One of the spring sports that Kinard offers is Unified Basketball. This is a team that unites athletes and partners to enjoy the game of basketball and engage in a team experience while working with students with disabilities. Our season runs from April 3rd to May 3rd and we have 3 practices a week. Applications are available in Student Services and are due by Tuesday, March 7th. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Irvine.
- Have you signed up for track and field yet? Mr. Benson would love to have you as part of the team. Look for a personal email sent to you with a link for how to sign up, or go to the track and field website for more information.
