Christians recognize it as Palm Sunday, which is observed the Sunday before Easter to commemorate the entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. In the Jewish faith, Sunday is Purim or the “Feast of Lots” that marks the saving of the Jewish people of ancient Persia from extermination.
