  • As part of Futures Month there is a map outside of Student Services that shows where many of our staff members went to college.  Stop by and check out the comments about what people liked about their colleges 

 

  • National Junior Honors Society it's time to meet! We will be meeting on Monday October 9th in the Media Center, please come in the front doors of the school and be ready by 7:20 a.m. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Darrow or Mrs. Hergenreder. This is for current NJHS members only. We will open up applications for new members in January.

 

  • Laptop Microphone and Camera
    • Are you having trouble with the microphone on your laptop?  Does your laptop camera appear locked?   You may have accidentally pressed a function key and turned the microphone or camera off.  Try pressing F4 to turn on the microphone and F8 to unlock the camera.  Restarting your laptop can also help.   If these steps don't work,  come to see Mrs. Louk in the media center for assistance. 

 

  • Don’t forget to check the LOST & FOUND for water bottles, lunch boxes, clothes, or any other items you may be missing before the weekend. 

 

Clubs:

  • Next week's clubs:
    • Fitness Club will meet on Monday and Wednesday from 3:15 - 4:00 p.m. in the weight room.
    • Baking Club is also on Monday from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. in Room 300.
    • Math Counts is on Tuesday from 3:10 - 4:15 p.m. in the Media Center.
    • Mustang Kickers Club is canceled on Thursday due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.
    • FCA/FCT club is on Friday from 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. in Room 300.

Athletics:

  • Our cross country runners finished their season yesterday afternoon with some impressive performances. Our girls team took second place overall in the district. Our boys team took first and are district champions! Congratulations cross country. 
  • Our volleyball team will play their first playoff game on Monday afterschool here at Kinard. 
  • Tonight is the Canvas Community Classic at CSU Canvas stadium. All PSD students are invited to watch Fossil Ridge take on Fort Collins and Poudre take on Rocky Mountain in football. Throughout the evening, many Kinard students will be recognized for their accomplishments, including our district champion tennis players, our district champion boys cross country team and our entire football team. The first game starts at 4:30 p.m.
