Important Information:
- October is Futures Month! Some of the fastest growing careers in the US right now are Nurse Practitioners, Data Scientists, Skilled Trades, and Health Service Managers. Serving people and hands-on careers will continue to grow.
- Remember that tomorrow is Dress up Day where you can wear a school appropriate costume to school. Remember to follow PSD dress policy, including wearing shoes. Hats and wigs are allowed, but you can’t wear anything else that covers your face or eyes, so no costume masks or face paint. Please no weapons or other inappropriate language or images. We look forward to seeing your fun and creative costumes tomorrow!
- Attention Boy's Soccer, Volleyball, Football and Tennis athletes: the PE teachers need you to check out of your large athletic lockers. Please see a PE teacher to do this during your PE class period or during lunch. Mr. Benson is available during all lunches every day. If you were in cross country and are NOT in a PE class, please check out of your small locker with a PE teacher.
- Pop and Frozen Friday is here tomorrow after school. Stop by the Mustang Corral after school for something cold, something sweet, or something buttery!
Clubs:
- Dungeons and Dragons Club is meeting today from 3:15 to 4 pm in Mrs. Houston’s room 509

- Pixels and Pencils Club has been cancelled tomorrow and will return next week.
Athletics:
- To all those athletes who participated in a fall sport - we want to celebrate you one more time. Next week, on Tuesday, we will have our first Parade of Champions of the year. This is our chance to celebrate everyone who participated in fall sports. If you were on the football, volleyball, boys soccer, tennis or cross country team - that means you! For all of those athletes, you need to head to the gym at the end of 7th period rather than going to your enrichment class. You will return to your enrichment class after the celebratory parade!
- Tryouts are always a challenging time for players and coaches. To all the boys who tried out for the basketball team, great job giving it your all. The boys who made the team will start practicing this week before getting into their first scrimmage on Monday.
- Wrestling open-mats continue this week after school in the small gym and are an option for any student looking to get involved this quarter.
