I come to Kinard with nine years of public school education experience. I have been so fortunate to teach for the past six years in Poudre School District as a secondary Language Arts teacher for both middle school and high school levels. My Bachelor's degrees are in English Literature and French from the University of Arizona. I completed my Master's of Education through Colorado State University.
As a lifelong learner, I am constantly seeking new experiences and new opportunities to deepen my knowledge of the world around me. Through travel, avid reading and writing, I challenge myself and enrich myself. It is my goal to bring this love of learning into my classroom every day and share it with my students. I look forward to the opportunity to learn from my students and colleagues.
When I am outside of the classroom, I enjoy running, hiking, knitting, and playing with my two dogs, Charlie and Snips. My husband and three children bring joy and light to my life.
