Important Information:

  • National Techies Day
    • National Techies Day on October 3rd encourages students to consider a career in technology.  With so many opportunities in the growing technology field, students seeking a career in technology will find promising choices anywhere they look.

 

  • October is Futures Month!  To celebrate we will highlight many options that are available to you after high school.  Stay tuned for other announcements and opportunities. Also, every Wednesday this month, starting tomorrow, is College Colors Day – wear your favorite college shirt to participate. 

 

  • National Junior Honors Society it's time to meet! We will be meeting on Monday October 9th in the Media Center, please come in the front doors of the school and be ready by 7:20 a.m. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Darrow or Mrs. Hergenreder. This is for current NJHS members only. We will open up applications for new members in January.



 

Clubs:

  • Math Counts will meet today in the Media Center from 3:15 to 4:15. Please see Mrs. Williams in room 322 if you have any questions.
  • Fitness club is tomorrow from 3:15 - 4:00 p.m. in the Weight Room. 

 

Athletics:

  • Good luck to our girls tennis team. They are competing at the district championship all day today!
  • Our football team plays Timnath in the first round of the playoffs tonight at 4:00 p.m. at Timnath. Football player release time is 1:45 p.m.
  • Our volleyball teams played some competitive matches yesterday with our varsity falling 2-1 in a close match, JV lost 2-0, C1 won 2-0 and C2 lost 2-0. Volleyball will finish the regular season with matches tomorrow against Wellington.

    • Penne & meat sauce
    • Cheese ravioli
    • Protein box
    • Club sandwich
  • Served for breakfast tomorrow is a egg, cheese, and bacon breakfast burrito
