Important Information:

  • Thank you for all of your support raising food and money for people with food insecurity.  We have added a raffle to help motivate classes to participate as well as each grade level leading class.  Prizes include: a pizza lunch on the balcony, cookies, donuts and more.  Remember that Friday is double points for peanut butter!
  • October is Futures Month!  To celebrate we will highlight many options that are available to you after high school.  Stay tuned for other announcements and opportunities.  Also, every Wednesday this month, starting tomorrow, is College Colors Day-wear your favorite college shirt to participate!

 

Clubs:

  • MathCounts will meet in the Media Center today after school and end at 4:00!
  • The Give Next Club will meet tomorrow in the Media Center from 3:15-4:00.  See Mrs. Grigg or Mrs. Fleming if you have questions.
  • Hello Mustangs!  Our new student-led Visual and Literary Arts Club will be hosting their first meeting after school from 3:15 to 4:30 pm on Thursday, October 3rd in room 516, Mrs. Van Huss Willis’ room.  Focused on building a creative community, we would love to have you if you’re interested in digital and traditional art, writing novels or poetry, typography, animation and more-anything creative is welcome here!
  • Attention all students who are interested in joining the Kinard Student Wellness Team with Mr. Benson.  We will have our first meeting of the year on Wednesday Oct. 2 during ELO.  Meet Mr. Benson in the Cafeteria at 2:35.  All are welcome!  Hope to see you there!
  • There will be a Science Olympiad meeting tomorrow, Wednesday Oct 2 during ELO.  We will be examining the current student to event placements, initial-drafted team rosters as well as our first upcoming practices and event schedules.  The student interest survey must be completed before attending the meeting if you have not done so already.

 

Athletics:

  • Girls Tennis will be playing in District Championships today!
  • Looking at tomorrow, Girls Volleyball teams play Lincoln, our Football Team plays Cache La Poudre, and Boys Tennis play in District Championships
