Important Information:

 

  • Did you know that today is National Custodian’s Day? We are very lucky to have Mr. E at Kinard because he keeps our building in tip top shape and he makes us smile with his warm and caring personality. Please join us today in showing our gratitude for Mr. E and our other custodians! A simple thank you, an extra smile, and a dedicated effort to cleaning up after yourselves will help make his day special!

 

  • Hi Kinard,  I am from Global Leadership and I am here to talk to you about CANS Around the Oval. We are trying to help people with food insecurity in Larimer County by raising money and collecting food. Food insecurity means that people don’t know when they will eat their next meal.  We are trying to reach our goals of $6,500 dollars and 4,000 pounds of food so that people with food insecurity can have meals to eat. Global leadership will start collecting cans and money on October 2nd in your first period class.  Remember to start bringing cans and money to your first period class on Monday October 2nd. The top first period class in each grade level will win a prize.

 

  • National Junior Honors Society it's time to meet! We will be meeting on Monday October 9th in the Media Center, please come in the front doors of the school and be ready by 7:20 a.m. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Darrow or Mrs. Hergenreder. This is for current NJHS members only. We will open up applications for new members in January.



 

Clubs:

  • No baking club on Monday 10/2 due to the CYO field trip.
  • Fitness Club is today from 3:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Weight Room. 
  • Math Counts will meet on Tuesday in the media center from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Please see Mrs. Williams in Room 322 if you have any questions.

 

Athletics:

  • Our volleyball team plays Preston this afternoon. Our varsity and jv team will be released at 1:55 p.m. to travel to Preston. Our C1 and C2 teams play here at Kinard and will be released at 2:30 p.m.

  • Served for breakfast tomorrow is a breakfast sausage pizza
