Education and Professional Background:
This is Ms. Vierheller's first year at Kinard. Ms. Vierheller holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and political science from Marietta College and a Master’s of Education degree from Marquette University. She has worked as a high school mathematics teacher in Wisconsin, Ohio, and Colorado and this is her 13th year in the classroom. Ms. Vierheller earned her National Board certification in 2021 and is a Senior Fellow with the Knowles Teacher Initiative, where she serves as an inquiry coach for early career teachers. She is passionate about statistics and probability and can’t wait to engage her students in rigorous mathematical tasks and make math come alive for her students.
Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Ms. Vierheller loves spending time outdoors with her husband and 2 year old daughter, Nora. She enjoys trail running with the Trail Sisters group in Fort Collins and usually has a race on the calendar. Ms. Vierheller also has a heart for reading and loves taking her daughter to the library any chance she can get.
