Important Information:

  • National Scribble Day
     
  • Kinard’s Character Challenge:
    • When you receive a re-direct or constructive criticism from teachers or friends, do you “own” your behavior and treat it as an opportunity to grow?  Being honest with yourself and listening to learn will lead to success in all parts of your life. Strive to not make excuses!
    • Challenge:  Seek to listen to others and to “own” your actions. Avoid making excuses and try to learn from others.

 

  • March Book Madness continues!  Here are the books YOU VOTED would make it to the Final Four!  

 

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Maze Runner,Lightning Thief, and The Hunger Games.

 

If you missed hearing the list, the bracket in the cafeteria will be updated by lunch today!

 

Which books will be a SLAM DUNK this week?  

 

Remember, we have the books featured in the book bracket on display in the media center if you need a refresher on a book!

 

 Clubs:

  • Fitness club is after school today in the small gym from 3:15-4pm.
  • Theater club is also after school today in the Media center from 3:10-4:10pm. 
  • Running club is also tomorrow outside from 3:15-4pm.

Athletics:

  • The Track and Field official season starts today!  If you are planning to participate in Track this spring season make sure you have a current physical on file, you are registered and you have paid your $130 athletic fee.  Questions?  See Mr. Benson or Mrs. Arnold.

Menu:

  • Today the lunch options are:
    • Mac and cheese
    • Chicken Drumsticks & roll
    • The deli will only include PB&J sandwich and a yogurt box
    • No Chef salad will be available today
  • Served for breakfast tomorrow are mini cinnamon rolls
