Important Information:

  • Our Kinard National Junior Honor Society fundraiser for the students impacted by the Marshall fires at Monarch High School was a HUGE success! If you and your family signed up to donate, please drop those donations in the box outside of the main office or in room 505.  Last day for donations to be turned in is TOMORROW. Please see Mrs. Hergenreder or Mrs. Arnold with questions.

  • Applications for Unified basketball and Unified PE are now available in Student

Services.  The goal of these programs is to provide a collaborative opportunity for participants to share a team experience, to grow as individuals and engage in fun while working with students with disabilities.  Unified PE is open to current 7th graders and Unified basketball is open to all grade levels.  Applications are due March 4th. See Mr. Anaya, Ms. Irvine, or Mrs. Dietz with questions

  • Attention 8th graders:   High school registration forms are due THIS Friday.  Counselors from the high school will be here to meet with you individually that day.  You will need your completed registration forms ready for turn in. You will receive a ticket with a specific time to come to the Media Center to see the counselors.  If you are not going to be here on Friday, please turn in your form before the 25th to the Student Services Department.

Clubs:

  • Fitness Club meets in the small gym today from 3:15-4:00.

  • Science Bowl will meet in Mrs. Tracy’s room, room 526, tomorrow morning at 7:15.

  • Running Club is cancelled today due to weather.

Sports:

  • Exciting news from the world of sports here at Kinard!  We now have a self-service athletics kiosk in the Media Center!  You will find all the forms and information needed at this kiosk to help you get signed up and ready to participate in any sport here at Kinard.  Currently, we are registering for golf, softball and track so if you are interested in any of those sports you need to make certain you are registered on SportsEngine, have paid your athletic fee on SchoolPay or with a check and have a current physical on file.  Questions?  See Mrs. Arnold!

  • Today our girl’s basketball teams will take on Lesher.  Our 7th grade team travels to Lesher and will be released at 2:00.   Our 8th grade athletes will be at home and would love a big crowd to stay after school and cheer them on!  8th grade release time is 2:30. Go Mustangs!

Menu:

  • Today for lunch we are serving cheese pizza, Hawaiian pizza or a sandwich from the hot sandwich line.  Tomorrow for breakfast we will serve a breakfast round.
