Important Information:

  • Applications for Unified basketball and Unified PE are now available in Student

Services.  The goal of these programs is to provide an opportunity for participants to share a team experience, to grow as individuals and engage in fun while working with students with disabilities.  Unified PE is open to current 7th graders and Unified basketball is open to all grade levels.  Applications are due March 4th. See Mr. Anaya, Ms. Irvine, or Mrs. Dietz with questions

  • Attention 8th graders:   High school registration forms are due TOMORROW.  Counselors from the high school will be here to meet with you individually that day.  You will need your completed registration form ready for turn in. You will receive a ticket with a specific time to come to the Media Center to see the counselors.  If you are not going to be here on tomorrow please turn in your form today to the Student Services Department.

Sports:

  • Today our Kinard wrestling team takes on Preston!  Plan to stay after school and cheer LOUDLY as we take on our rivals here in the Kinard gym.  Our wrestling athletes will be released at 2:30.

  • Congratulations to our basketball teams on a fantastic showing against Lesher yesterday!  Our 8th grade varsity team ran their way to a 40 to 2 win and our JV team also dominated.  The 7th grade team knocked down 3 pointers to win 34-28 and secure home court for the playoffs.  The JV team fought a difficult defensive battle but, in the end, came up short.

Clubs:

  • Science Fair meets at 3:15 in room 315.

  • NJHS will meet in the media center tomorrow morning at 7:30.

Menu:

  • Today for lunch we are serving beef and bean burrito, chicken ceasar salad, or in the hot sandwich line there will be cheeseburger, hamburger, chicken patty or spicy chicken patty sandwich. Tomorrow for breakfast we will serve cinnamon toast crunch soft filled bars.
