Important Information:

  • Thanks to everyone that contributed to our Avalanche of Appreciation in February.  The board outside of the 7th grade art room is overflowing with gratitude!  If you haven't looked, do so soon!  Keep sharing your appreciation of the people in your life!

  • Congratulations to 8th graders Kellan Willey and Braeden Lignell on their performance with the CU Middle School Band this past Saturday. They were selected by blind audition and were selected to perform in this prestigious band which is comprised of the best middle school musicians in the state. Great Job!

  • Applications for Unified basketball and Unified PE are now available in Student

Services. Unified PE is open to current 7th graders and Unified basketball is open to all grade levels.  Applications are due Friday. See Mr. Anaya, Ms. Irvine, or Mrs. Dietz with questions.

Clubs:

  • Math Counts meets today in the media center at 3:15.

  • Fly tying club meets in room 414 at 3:20.

Sports:

  • It was a clean sweep against Wellington to wrap up the regular season last night for girls basketball.  The 8th graders commanded both games from the start and won 37-14 and the JV's won 27-7.  The 7th graders brought back a varsity win 43-18 and the JV had smothering defense with a 28-2 win. Make plans to cheer on our Mustangs this Thursday night as both teams play in the playoffs!

  • Golf and track athletes!  We are registering for golf and track NOW so if you are interested in those sports you need to take care of the preseason paperwork.   Golf try outs are next week!  Track starts next month!  Questions?  See Mrs. Arnold!

  • Our Wrestlers take on Lincoln today after school here at Kinard.  Wrestling athletes are released at 2:30.   Stay after school and cheer on our Mustangs!

Menu:

  • Today for lunch we are serving penne and meat sauce, turkey or ham and cheese sandwich and our hot sandwich line is open. Tomorrow for breakfast we will serve cinnamon toast filled soft bars.
