Important Information:

  • Attention 7th graders applying to be a WEB leader.  Your application is due Friday to Student Services. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Young, Ms. Irvine or Mrs. Bell.

  • Attention 7th graders who applied for leadership classes in 8th grade- there will be a meeting during ELO tomorrow to talk about the process for being accepted into a leadership class. Please check in with your ELO and then come down to the gym. This meeting will only take 15 minutes tomorrow.

  • Exciting news from your Media Center!  We are having a Reading Challenge over spring break!  Yes!  Another fun opportunity to win prizes for reading!  You simply complete one of the challenges over spring break and enter to WIN!  The challenges are:

Reread a childhood favorite book.

Reread a favorite book from the last year.

Reread a book and rewatch the film.

Reread a book that you disliked the first time you read it.

Read a picture book.

Read a book that you think you will want to reread in the future.

Reread a sequel.

            Any questions?  Mrs. Arnold or Mrs. Fabrizio in the Media Center can help! 

Clubs:

  • Attentions State Qualifying Science Olympiad team members!  We will have a meeting during ELO in Mr. McGonagil's room today to discuss the plans for State competition and weekly practices. Please plan to attend this very important meeting.

  • Fitness Club meets in the small gym today from 3:15-4:00.

  • Science Bowl will meet in Mrs. Tracy’s room, room 526, tomorrow morning at 7:15. 

Sports:

  • Softball athletes;  softball will be practicing indoors for the remainder of this week.

  • Track athletes!  Track preseason is March 31st.  If you plan to participate, get all your paperwork turned in no later than March 30th.  Physical forms should be turned in to Mrs. Arnold in the media center and all other registration can be done online from the Kinard Athletics page.

Menu:

  • Today for lunch we are serving macaroni and cheese with goldfish crackers, chicken Caesar wrap, and our hot sandwich line is open. Tomorrow for breakfast we will serve breakfast sausage pizza.
