Important Information:

  • Our weekly character challenge is here!  Author Cynthia Ozick is quoted as saying, “Two things remain irretrievable: time and a first impression.”  How do you make a first impression when welcoming a guest to your school?  How does your first interaction highlight your character and integrity?

Challenge:  Make a great first impression on someone at school this week.  Whether that is a guest speaker in a class, a substitute teacher, or a new student you meet, make sure to demonstrate your own character and Kinard character in your first interactions.

  • Did you complete any of the reading challenges over your spring break?  If so, come by the media center by Friday to fill out your entry to win a FUN prize!  Any questions?  Mrs. Arnold or Mrs. Fabrizio in the Media Center can help!

Clubs:

  • Fitness club meets at 3:15 in the weight room.

  • Quilling club meets at 3:15 today after school in room 311.

  • Theatre Club meets at 3:15 in the media center.

Sports:

  • Attention all boy golfers trying out this week. Your pass with tee time is posted outside Coach Lardner’s classroom, room 414. Please see Coach Lardner or Coach Flemming for more information.

  • Attention all girl golfers trying out this week. Please stop by Coach Flemming's office, room 502, this afternoon, between 1:30 until after school to pick up your pass with your tee time. Please see Coach Flemming or Coach Lardner for more information.

  • All 6th, 7th and 8th grade track athletes!  Track preseason starts on March 31st.  Are you ready for track?  Do you have a current physical on file?  Have you paid your athletic fee?  Have you filled out Track registration forms?  If so, great!   If not, these things must happen so that you can participate on the 31st!

Menu:

  • Today for lunch we are serving chicken drumstick with goldfish, club wrap and our hot sandwich line is open.  For breakfast tomorrow we will be serving a breakfast round.
