Wow, Kinard, everyone looks so cozy in their pajamas today! Thanks for participating in our Mustang Spirit Week. Our spirit week will continue tomorrow with Winter Wonderland Day. Dress in all white and blue for a frosty, freezing day of fun!
The celebration of Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, began last night, December 14th, and continues through Monday, December 22nd. This Jewish holiday is celebrated by lighting the candles of the menorah (meh-NOR-uh) each night, playing games like dreidel (DRAY-dul), and enjoying delicious treats such as latkes (LOT-kehs) and sufganiyot (soof-gah-NEE-ot), which are jelly-filled donuts. Hanukkah is a time to celebrate hope, tradition, and bringing light into the world. We wish a happy Hanukkah to all who are celebrating!

Pickleball Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the cafeteria
Social Justice Learning Team meets today during ELO in the Media Center
Kinard Student Wellness Team with Mr. Benson meets tomorrow before school between 7:30-8 am in the cafeteria
Yodeler’s Society meets tomorrow morning from 7:30 to 8:00 am in the big gym
Comic Bookers meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mr. Graham’s room 311
GSA Club meets tomorrow after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mr. Rollings room 312
Math Counts has been cancelled tomorrow and will return after winter break

Athletics:

Boys Basketball Varsity/JV Teams have playoff games today against Timnath here at Kinard. Release players at 2:30, game starts at 3:30.
