Important Information:

  • ATTENTION STUDENTS IN KINARD’S GT PROGRAM:  ALP Groups will start meeting this week with Mrs. Grigg during ELO.  Please look to receive your GT/ALP Pass with day and time to attend in the media center. This is a required meeting and will be a time for you to explore your ALP goal and gain more understanding.  Please stop by the GT office or email Mrs. Grigg for any questions

  • Take a photo of you and a teacher tomorrow with both of you in your college gear and email it to Mrs. Young or Ms. Irvine.  Or have your teacher email the photo. You will be entered into a drawing for a prize!
    •  Remember Wednesday is college colors day – wear your favorite college gear!

  • Today or yesterday during ELO, your teacher talked to you about the reasons for and expectations related to an upcoming change about backpacks in ELO. This change will start tomorrow, and students will then be allowed to bring backpacks to ELO. This does not change the expectation that backpacks remain in lockers during the rest of the day nor the expectation that students are prompt to ELO. We are hopeful this will make it easier for you to use ELO as a productive time for completing and organizing your work for all your classes. If you have questions about this change, please ask your ELO teacher today!

  • “Hey Mustangs!  The Kinard Entrepreneurship classes will be selling a variety of products at the table under the balcony during lunches, starting on even days. The holidays are right around the corner, and many of their products will make excellent gifts. Products are hand-made right here at school. Here are a few examples of what you can buy – custom scented Fluffy Soaps, Locker Magnets and Keychains, Crocheted Crafts and Plushes, Buttons, Stickers, Cool, Creative Candles, VALID Bracelets and Necklaces and more! All of the profits go to Give Next this year. See the Entrepreneurship sales staff during the first ten minutes of Even day lunches to order your items!”
