Important Information:

  • October is Futures Month!  Have you ever been on a college campus? Next time you have a chance, you could learn a lot by seeing the buildings, going in the student union, picking up a student newspaper, and getting a feel for what campus life is like.
  • We are halfway through our Mustang Spirit Week and are loving seeing your spirit gear each day! You have two more days to participate. Remember that tomorrow is Crazy Accessory Day so wear a funny hat, silly socks, a colorful scarf, or some other favorite accessory for a little added flare. 

 

Clubs:

  • Fitness Club meets today after school from 3:15 to 4:00 in the Fitness Room by the small gym
  • Give Next meets today from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mrs. Houston’s classroom Room 509
  • Science Bowl meets today from 3:15 to 4:15 in Ms. Eitsert’s Room 313
  • Study Club meets today from 3:20 to 4:10 in Mr. Costello’s Room 416
  • Social Justice Learning Team meets today during ELO in the Media Center
  • Dungeons and Dragons Club meets tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:20 in Mr. Costello’s Room (416)

 

Athletics:

  • The Boys Basketball teams will have scrimmages today against Timnath.  C/D Teams play at Timnath, release players at 1:20, load bus at 1:35.  Varsity/JV teams play here at Kinard, release players at 2:30, game starts at 3:30!  Good luck boys! 
  • Attention all Wrestlers - We will start hosting optional off season open mat work outs in the coming weeks. The first opportunity for anyone interested in participating in wrestling to learn about the sport and work out with the team will be tomorrow in the small gym from 3:30-5 pm. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle.

  • Breakfast tomorrow will be Mini Pancakes
